Steer clear of the construction work! 🚧

Contractors will be installing sidewalks to the west of the Hermiston Skatepark this month. The park will remain open for public use, but please stay away from the designated construction area.

The Hermiston Skatepark is officially open! We recently received full approval, despite the fence being down for a while! Please go out and enjoy it safely!

Our Ribbon Cutting celebration will be on May 11th!

Waiting on contractors to fix the ADA issues. There is a plan, but we need concrete workers to do it. CA Skateparks is coordinating the work. As soon as the work is complete, the skatepark will be open.

*1.10.2024 UPDATE* We are facing a few bumps in the road with a couple of ADA pathway issues. We're tackling these challenges head-on and working hard to sort everything out quickly.

The park will open as soon as the issues are taken care of and clear the final inspection, so stay tuned!

Mark your calendars for May 11th (the skatepark will open BEFORE this date!!!) We're planning an awesome Ribbon Cutting and Skatefest event, complete with demos and a 'Best Trick' contest. Get ready to join the fun!

The skatepark is nearly complete. We are waiting on final inspections before we can officially open. This has been a LONG process...we know, but, we have to do it right!

*11/17 Update*

Anticipating a mid-December opening barring any unforeseen delays. Skatepark concrete is about 90% complete. The restroom has been placed and additional site work, pathways and landscaping is to come.
