Members of our leadership team spent the last few days at the WTAMU TMEA All-State Choir Camp learning this year’s audition music! They had the opportunity to work with outstanding clinicians, collaborate with talented students from across our region, and perform some incredible repertoire.

If you haven’t signed up for the HHS All-State Camp yet, I highly encourage you to do so! This year’s music is definitely challenging, but the growth and rewards that come from putting in the work will be worth it!

‼️Attention all incoming 9th - 12th grade HHS Choir students: ‼️

Want a head start on All-State season? Join us for Hereford Choir All-State Camp this summer!

This camp is designed to help students learn next year’s TMEA music BEFORE school even starts, while also making friends, having fun, participating in activities, and growing as musicians in a positive, high-energy environment.

Students will receive focused instruction, vocal coaching, sight reading help, and individualized intervention from experienced directors and clinicians to help prepare them for the All-State process.

Activities include seeing TEXAS! The Musical, a movie night, a bowling party, and more! 🤠🎳🎬

Whether you’re a returning All-State singer or trying auditions for the first time, this camp is one of the BEST ways to set yourself up for success. We can’t wait to sing with you this summer! 🎶🔥

Houston trip phot dump. 🎶🚌

A lot of miles, not a lot of sleep, way too much junk food, and a ton of fun. Really proud of how these kids represented our program everywhere we went.

NASA, Astros, Meow Wolf, Kemah, and a lot of memories made in between. Glad we got to give these students an experience they’ll remember for a long time!

What a weekend for Hereford Choir at the UIL State Solo & Ensemble Contest!

Our high school choir students took 41 total events to state, including 29 solo entries and 2 ensembles, and earned:

27 Division 1 “Superior” Ratings
11 Division 2 “Excellent” Ratings
3 Division 3 “Good” Ratings

We are so proud of these students and all of the hard work they put in to get to this level. Performing at the state contest is already a huge accomplishment, and they represented Hereford with excellence.

Thank you to our parents, administration, accompanists, and community for supporting these kids all year long. Go Herd! 🤍🐮🎶

STATE BOUND! 🎶🎶🎶

Today, our Hereford Choir students officially hit the road to compete at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest! We are incredibly proud of these students and all of the hard work, preparation, and dedication that got them here.

Thank you so much to our amazing parents, community members, district staff, and supporters for the incredible send-off this morning. Your encouragement and belief in these kids continues to make a difference.

Tonight, 11 of our choir seniors were recognized for their academic achievements at the Hereford Senior Awards Ceremony, and wow… what an incredible group of students. 🎓🎓🎓

Collectively, these students have earned $366,050 in scholarships for college, and that is absolutely something to celebrate. We are so proud of not only the musicians they’ve become, but the hardworking, driven, and successful young adults they are turning into.

Their future schools are getting some truly amazing people.

So proud of this group and all they’ve accomplished. Go Herd! 🐮🤍🎶

We had fantastic performances by all of our choirs this evening, and an amazing turnout as well! Thank you so much for showing up for these students, just as you have all year long. This has been an incredible year for our choir programs. So much music was learned, memories were made, and growth happened every step of the way. We couldn’t be more proud of how our students continuously rose to every challenge placed before them.
