Missing Person Robert Shaw Update--06-28-24

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for Robert “Bob” Shaw of Rural Henning. Bob Shaw is believed to have walked away from his residence on State Hwy 29 south of State Hwy 210 on Saturday June 22ndst at approximately 600am.

There have been multiple searches which have included State Patrol Aircraft(s), National Guard Civil Air Patrol, US Customs and Border Patrol aircraft, Multiple K9’s, Drones, Airboat, Sherp All-Terrain Vehicle, Horses, UTV’s and 300-400 local volunteer community members and Firemen as well as 2 Search and Rescue teams which also included artificial intelligence technology.
On Wednesday June 26, Central Lakes Search and Rescue K9 searched the area.

On Friday, June 28 multiple Search & Rescue K9 teams deployed in the area surrounding the home property as well as an expanded search area.

We will continue to utilize many different resources to continue the search and continue to investigate tips and information as it comes in.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office continues to ask the public to check their property and buildings. We are also asking the public to review and monitor security systems and game cameras. Please report any suspicious activity or possible sightings of Mr. Shaw to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office at 218-998-8555.

Carter would come to Henning Lanes every Wednesday at 5:00 pm to watch his Grandpa (Jim Dilly) bowl. When the Twilight League was done, Carter would bowl while "Dilly" would visit. We met so many friendly people on our leagues and although we no longer own Henning Lanes, we still care about those who supported us, thank you to the Dilly Family for supporting us, I hope by sharing this post, we are able to make more people aware of Carter medical problems. Please, give what you are able to help this family out.

We are so very sorry about the loss of a precious little boy called Bryce. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Kristy, Nate and Klare, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. In Bryce’s short life, he was able to bring so many people together as we would read Kristy’s journal on the Caring Bridge. We wept, hope and prayed along with Bryce’s family and friends. Bryce, himself was a miracle. Blessed be his memory.

Long before we took over the bowling alley, Thalmann Insurance sponsor the 5th Frame and 6 Strikes in a Row Pizzas, now it is your turn to show your thanks for all the pizzas you enjoyed over the years by attending the Bryce Thalmann Spaghetti Dinner - Bake Sale – Silent Auction Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Henning Community Center, Henning, Minnesota. Bryce has malignant rhabdoid tumor (mrt) of the liver which is very rare and aggressive. Bryce lives in Otter Tail City area with his parents and sister. His Dad Nathan, Grandpa Pete, Uncle Rod, Aunt Sharon, cousins Darin, Kaleb and Kolby were all league bowlers of ours, and Grandma Renee sponsor the pizzas.
