New England College Theatre We craft, design, create and become more. We become greater. Theatre is not created in a vacuum. It is in its essence a reflection of the world around us.

Because it is created in the real world, it is also a social, political and ethical response to that world. Both in its design and its creation, the theatre artist has a civic, moral and ethical response to the world in which they live. It’s opening night for the Spring Theatre Production at the Institute of Art and Design at New England College! Join us at 7:30pm to see Portals: a Collection of 10 minute plays.

Portals is a fast-paced evening of short plays that span comedy, drama, horror, and musical theatre. Featuring over 30 performers and technicians drawn from across campus community- students, faculty, staff- this eclectic production celebrates the creativity of our artists both onstage and behind the scenes. Several of the plays are directed by students, giving emerging voices the chance to bring their ideas to life.
