Support the Henniker Summer Concert Series – 2026
Where music brings community together

Last year, thanks to generous community support, we were able to add a 13th concert to the season. We’re hoping to do it again in 2026—and we need your help.

The Henniker Summer Concert Series runs every Tuesday night from June 16–September 1, 2026, filling the Angela Robinson Bandstand with live music, connection, and summer fun. With 200–700 people attending each week, it’s the largest recurring community event in Henniker.

Now in its 46th season, the concert series began as a small community tradition revived by New England College Professor of Music Angela Robinson. With support from local businesses, volunteers, and Friends of the Series, it has grown into a summer tradition that brings top regional performers to Henniker—without using taxpayer dollars.

A $100 donation helps keep this tradition strong and supports live music in our community.

Friends receive:
• Invitation to a Friends-only VIP catered reception
• Name listed on the official concert flyer
• Recognition on a Friends poster displayed all season
• Certificate of Appreciation
• Season concert sticker
• Name listed on the concert series website
• Advance mailing of the 2026 season program

💛 In Loving Memory of Peter Flynn 💛

The Henniker Concert Series extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Peter Flynn, who passed away on Sunday, October 26th, surrounded by his loved ones.

Peter was a pillar of the Henniker community and a cherished supporter of the Henniker Concert Series. As Town Administrator at the time of the series’ inception, he was a strong and steadfast advocate for bringing music and the arts to our town helping to create what has become a beloved summer tradition in Henniker.

Each concert season, you could always find Peter sitting on his patio, enjoying the music, waving to neighbors, and chatting with friends as the band played on. His generosity and love for the arts created countless memories for our town especially for the children who were always welcome to play on his lawn while he watched from his porch, smiling and taking in the joy of the community he loved so deeply.

Peter’s spirit, warmth, and dedication to Henniker will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences go out to Kathi and the entire Flynn family. His legacy will forever live on in the music that fills our bandstand. 🎶💛

Love live music? Enjoy being part of something that brings the community together? We’re looking for a few more awesome people to join the Henniker Concert Committee (or volunteer with us during the summer season)!

There are lots of ways to help — big and small — including:
🎶 Helping find and review bands for next summer’s lineup
🍔 Working with vendors
📱 Sharing posts and updates on social media
🎟️ Sitting at our concert table to sell raffle tickets and hand out surveys
🚗 Putting up (and taking down) parking and sponsorship signs
🪑 Helping carry out tables and chairs on concert nights
👥 Counting audience attendance (it’s trickier than it sounds — and we could use a few volunteers for this one!)

We’re looking for friendly, team-oriented folks who bring ideas, flexibility, and good vibes. A truck or larger vehicle is extra helpful for those who deliver sponsor signs, but not required!
