Hendersonville Performing Arts Company Hendersonville and Sumner County’s non-profit community theater! Serving the Middle Tennessee area for over 30 years!

Hendersonville Performing Arts Company (formerly Steeple Players Theatre) is a teaching theatre that provides an environment where children and adults are encouraged to develop their skills and talents in theatre production. Volunteers do all the work of the organization. HPAC supports its operating budget with revenue from productions, sponsorships and donations. HPAC needs volunteers on Monday, August 31 and Tuesday, Sept 1! We will be rebuilding our theater back wall these 2 days, and we need your help! We need mobile volunteers who can carry trash outside to a dumpster. 💪

We will be working 9am-8pm, so whether you can come after work or during the day, even 2 hours helps!

Behind the Façade: Meet the Jekyll & Hyde ensemble. Introducing Grace Montgomery, Mack Overfelt and Jaime Riley!

What Grace is most excited to perform:
I am most excited for the number “Alive”. The music is equal parts challenging for the performer and powerful to the listener.

What Mack enjoys in rehearsals: The most fun part of the show has been finding how my character fits in the broader story of the show.

Jaime on why you need to come to the show: People should come to see Jekyll and Hyde because both the music and the theme are beautifully dark and dramatic. It takes you on an interesting journey through the struggle of good and evil that exists in all of us on some level.

Meet the people of London! Our Jekyll and Hyde ensemble includes Sarah Fye, Francine Green-Thomas, Rachel Kell and Mary Mayhugh.

What Sarah enjoys in rehearsals: The music in this show is so beautiful and compelling. 

Francine on why you need to come see the show: It’s a great story with a great cast! You’d be missing out on AMAZING collaboration if not. 

Rachel’s favorite song: My favorite song is Someone Like You. To be lifted by love as that song describes is the dream. I love this song so much that it was sung in my wedding. 

Mary on why you need to come to the show: It’s a fun take on a classic piece of literature and a perfect show for the incoming spooky season.

HPAC is excited to host The Soaring Eagles, a musical salute to the Eagles this weekend. 🎵

Shows are Friday and Sunday at 7pm.

Tickets are $29.50 and are on sale now! They must be purchased in person at Kiki’s Kitchen or by calling them at 615-447-3148. Grab your tickets before they sell out!
