This experience was held at Blue Ridge Community College, April 11th, Saturday as the Season Finale - Rachmaninoff's 3rd Concerto.
This performance is renowned for its demands, emotional intensity and is the cornerstone of the Romantic repertoire.

The Hendersonville Symphony shared this performance with featured solo pianist: Dr. Brian Hsu and Concertmaster, Mariya Potapova that elevated everyone to a standing ovation and we were there for the experience.

Apologies for the delayed update; it has been an exceptionally busy, music-filled week for the Hendersonville Symphony.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Freeburg Pianos for hosting the "Prelude of the Symphony." This event offered a wonderful opportunity for the Board and Committees to invite newcomers and new ticket holders to experience the symphony firsthand.

The program featured performances by pianist Makoto Kessoku and clarinetist Aaron Lipsky. Additionally, Dr. Hwa-Jin Kim introduced the Beethoven 32 Bicentennial Celebration, and Music Director John Concklin presented the 2025-26 Season Concert Series. Director Concklin also introduced Brian Hsu, the soloist performing Rachmaninoff's 3rd Concerto for our Season Finale.

For those who have not yet had the opportunity to support or attend the Hendersonville Symphony, we encourage you to join us for the upcoming season.
