Update!! Update!! Avalon Rock Fest raised $5,375.89 total funds for Blue Ridge Humane Society this year, our biggest event to date. Many thanks to the owner, management and staff of Mills River Brewing Co. for their “round up at the register” donation they ran during the event, taking us well over the 5K mark and for hosting. Now we are looking forward to October 2027 (yes, that’s right, we are moving it to the fall) increasing the bar even higher, while continuing to bring quality live music for a great cause in Henderson County. Also, thank you to all the music, pet, and craft beer lovers who came out this year to share the special day with us. We will see everyone next year! Stay tuned for updates!

Avalon Rock Fest has become much more than just an annual fundraising concert we produce. Every year gets better and the passion behind the cause expands exponentially. This year (our biggest ever) we surpassed last year by a long shot in total funds raised (more on this soon) and are now already looking forward to next year. High Sierra is very happy to announce the addition of the most talented Art Eccleston!
We are very excited to have a good second guitar player again and will be getting new pictures soon along with a new logo eventually!

We are trying something different in 2027. Avalon Rock Fest 5-A Benefit For Blue Ridge Humane Society will be in the fall of next year. We will most likely announce what month in 2027 by the end of this year or early next year. Thank you everyone!
