✨ Meet Maddie Michael ✨

Say hello to Maddie, a 16-year-old cowgirl originally from Colorado who now calls Sulphur Springs, Texas, home, competing in the Miss category for the 2026–2027 Miss Rodeo Black Gold Stampede Royalty Contest!

With a heart for horses, a passion for rodeo, and a love for travel and helping others, Maddie feels right at home beneath the arena lights. She is a talented flag runner with the Texas Spirit Riders and has traveled coast to coast and across many states, proudly riding with the Texas Spirit.

Her journey with professional flag running holds a special connection to the Black Gold Stampede, as this was the very first rodeo where Maddie ever ran professional flags. We are thrilled to now welcome her back to the arena in a new role as a contestant in our Miss Division!

As a tenacious homeschool student, Maddie lives by a never give up, never back down attitude. She brings that same determination to everything she does, whether she’s riding, creating art, traveling, serving others, or pursuing her dreams.

Family and faith are at the heart of who Maddie is. As a middle child, she deeply treasures her family, and her relationship with God is the foundation that guides the way she loves, encourages, and serves others.

Maddie is a compassionate, faithful, determined young cowgirl with big dreams, a servant’s heart, and a light all her own. We can’t wait to watch her journey unfold!

✨ Meet Kaetynn Santellan! ✨

Say hello to Kaetynn Santellan, a 16-year-old cowgirl from Bullard, Texas, competing in the Teen category for the 2026–2027 Miss Rodeo Black Gold Stampede Royalty Contest!

Kaetynn is an 11th-grade student at Abeka Academy, where she has maintained a 3.92 GPA while pursuing the things she loves both in and out of the classroom.

Her true passion comes to life around horses. Kaetynn enjoys barrel racing, horse training, and teaching riding lessons, and she has also competed in rodeo queen competitions. She loves the combination of horsemanship, competition, and the opportunity to represent the western lifestyle she’s grown up loving.

When she isn’t riding or competing, Kaetynn enjoys being involved with her church youth group and ministry, finding ways to grow, serve, and stay connected to her faith.

With her dedication, love for horses, and drive to keep learning, Kaetynn is ready to step into the arena and make her mark in this year’s competition. 🤍✨

✨ Meet Bonnie! ✨

We are excited to introduce Bonnie, a 17-year-old cowgirl from Henderson, Texas, competing in the Teen category for the 2026–2027 Miss Rodeo Black Gold Stampede Royalty Contest!

Bonnie is a senior at Panola Early College High School, where she is involved in Dual Credit and Wednesday morning Bible study. Her faith is an important part of her life and continues to guide the way she serves and encourages others.

A proud member of the Christian Youth Rodeo Association (CYRA), Bonnie is right at home in the rodeo world. She also serves as a wrangler for AFCC youth camps in Oklahoma, helping create meaningful experiences for young people through the western lifestyle and the sport she loves.

With a heart for rodeo, faith, and serving others, Bonnie is ready to make memories and represent the Black Gold Stampede throughout the royalty competition!
