Not bad for a Tuesday view. 🦢

The Preston Arts Center sits on the beautiful campus of Henderson Community College; complete with a pond, swans, and scenery that honestly does not get talked about enough. This is what greets you before you even walk through the doors.

Whether you are coming for a show or just passing through, Henderson has something special right here. Come see it for yourself.

We want you to meet one of the many people behind the curtain. 🎭

This is Kaelin Hildreth, the Event Coordinator here at the Preston Arts Center. Kaelin is a Henderson native, born and raised right here. He spent a few years living in Atlanta and Milwaukee before finding his way back home. And we are so glad he did.

When he is not at the PAC, you might find him on the soccer field coaching the North Middle School Lady Cadets, writing a screenplay, or spending Sunday evenings with his family over a board game. He’s also a Chelsea FC supporter so don’t hold that against him if you follow the Premier League. ⚽

But what makes Kaelin the right person for this role goes beyond his love for Henderson. He has been performing on this very stage since he was young. The PAC is not just a job for him, it is personal. And his vision is simple; to make sure every person in Henderson knows about this hidden gem in their backyard and feels welcome here.

We are just getting started. 💙

Every act that has ever performed at the Preston Arts Center leaves their mark on the wall. Literally. 🖊️

Backstage at the PAC there is an entire hallway covered in signatures, drawings, and messages from performers dating back decades. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Swan Lake. Chicago. The Oak Ridge Boys. Name after name after name, all of them passed through Henderson and stood on our stage.

This wall is one of our favorite things in this entire building. It is a living record of everything this community has experienced right here in Henderson!

Can you spot any names you recognize? 👀

This is our stage. 🎭

The Preston Arts Center recently upgraded to a brand new state of the art LED lighting system. What you are seeing here is just a glimpse of what it can do. Every color, every mood, every moment, our stage is ready for it all.

And this stage? It belongs to Henderson.

We have been a part of Henderson for a long time, and we are so grateful for every person who has walked through these doors over the years. 💙

We want to take a moment to properly introduce ourselves. In 2016 the Henderson Fine Arts Center was renamed the Preston Arts Center. Named in honor of Raymond and Hattie Preston, two incredible people who believed in this community and invested in it in a meaningful way. We are proud to carry their name and their legacy forward.

Whether you have been coming here for years or have never stepped inside, we are the Preston Arts Center. The PAC. And we cannot wait to share everything we have in store for Henderson.

Come see us soon. The doors are always open. 🤍

We have to give a huge shoutout to Holy Name Catholic Church here in Henderson. 🙌

They recently donated this stunning chandelier to the Preston Arts Center, and it has completely transformed our lobby. We are so grateful for their generosity and for the way this community always shows up for each other.

Come see it in person. We promise it's even more beautiful in real life.

Thank you, Holy Name. Henderson is lucky to have you.
