Pet-Friendly! This facility is for rent for family reunions, wedding receptions, weddings, banquets, revivals and church functions, anniversaries, expos, and shows. We offer sound systems, tables, dj's, chairs for your event. We have a full kitchen with commercial refrigerator, bagged ice, playground, volleyball court, basketball goal, picnic tables, commercial charcoal barbecue pit, and walking trails. There is parking on 4 acres and indoor seating for 400.

Fred Hoover brought his son out to Booker’s Dude Ranch for the Biannual DW Bruton Rusk Co. Youth Mentoring Camp, and WOW—what an experience! It truly takes a village to raise a child, and our Rusk County village showed up in full force.

Fred’s son didn't just watch; he got his hands dirty and learned from the best! Check out this lineup of local legends who poured into the next generation:

Heavy Machinery: He drove a Mahindra tractor with local contractor Stanley Brown, learned the ropes of a winch truck with Kolton Wallace(Wallace & Sons Towing), and mastered commercial truck ops with the CDL Training Academy.

Gears & Grit: Huge thanks to Michael Rainer II and Combined Oilfield Services for teaching the lost art of manual shifting, and to Alvester Conyer and Daryl Washington for teaching the value of hard work while loading hay!

Sparks & Crafts: He learned the art of welding with Bulldog Bilt LLC, tried his hand at carpentry with Cassity Jones, and learned about lineman work with Rusk County Electric.

Safety & Surprises: Chasaty Guillotine provided crucial lessons on proper gun safety. Crim's Chapel VFD and Christus EMS tuned him into the lifesaving techniques of first responders.

Plus, he walked away with a goody bag from Dolly Farms and a prize from Karen Holland at the Fat Boy Foundation! This is what community mentorship looks like!
