Whether you were returning to Songfest or joining us for the first time, thank you for spending part of your summer in Henderson and for giving our community an unforgettable week of music.

Every one of you is represented here because every one of you helped make Songfest 2026 something truly special.

Thank you for every song, every story, every laugh, every conversation, and every moment you shared with us. You reminded us that the stories behind the songs are just as meaningful as the songs themselves.

Just a few days ago, these stages were filled with songs, stories, laughter, and standing ovations. Today, they’re quiet—but our hearts are anything but.

Thank you to every songwriter who traveled to Henderson to share your music and your stories. Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, board members, venues, photographers, sound crew, vendors, and community partners who made this festival possible.

Most of all, thank you to every person who attended a show, bought a ticket, shared a post, or simply told a friend to come. You are the reason this festival continues to grow.

For four days, we celebrated the people behind the music while honoring the legacy of Sandy Lee Watkins. We couldn’t have done it without this incredible community.

The curtain comes down on the 2026 Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival tonight with one final songwriter round at The Elks.
