Congratulations to Melinda Cooley for being selected as Outstanding Performer at the 2026 Texas State UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest! Being named Outstanding Performer is an incredible accomplishment. Each judge selects only one performer for the entire day who truly stood out among so many talented performances from across the state of Texas.

This is such a wonderful way for Melinda to close out her high school twirling career! We are excited to see her continue her journey this fall at Stephen F. Austin State University as a member of the Twirl-O-Jacks.

Melinda is my third student to earn this prestigious honor. Natalie McQuiston Kelley received the award in 2013, and Gracie Lane earned the honor in 2022. I’m incredibly proud of Melinda for joining these outstanding Precision Twirl students in receiving this award.

Regular classes are finished for the 2025–2026 school year! I’m so proud of the progress each team has made, as well as the individual growth I’ve seen in every student.

Private lessons are a great option to keep skills sharp over the summer—I’d love to work with you!

Session Two of our Stretching Clinic starts on Monday!!
Age Groups / Clinic Times:
4th - 8th Grade - 7:00 - 7:50 P.M. - (8th graders have the choice to attend this session. This session would be for those 8th graders with less stretching experience.)
8th - College - 8:00 - 8:50 P.M. - (8th graders have the option to attend this session if they have had several years of stretching experience.)
*Grade level is determined by the grade you will be in during the 25/26 school year.
