Keep Going

Run through the trees, out into the wide-open spaces,
out into the free; let go of bad energy.
Run through your life with a smile on your face, happy just to be,
guard against the bad: you and I both know evil exist; oh yea,
and it is out there in full force. It’s easy to find if we go looking for it.

Learn to protect yourself; only you and the people who love you,
will watch over you, and they can't be there every moment.
You're doing good, believe in yourself, build your force shield strong.
We should find where we belong, keep our heads together,
and be a good influence on the young.

Lend a helping hand whenever we can;
make this world a better place.
Keep your body running, be kind to your heart,
and give your mind time to unwind.

We should choose to be happy and go through life with a smile on our face.
We may never get there, but it’s a choice we have to make,
and keep working towards it every day,
and maybe, just maybe, we can get a little bit closer!

PEACE OUT

A Better World

The pendulum flies with so little effort.
Everyone’s vision catches a different spectrum of time.
We may all live on earth in what seems to be the same dimension,
but we see different degrees of separation between the wavelengths,
and dream in different colors of the rainbow.

Is it a good idea to designate positions to maintain order?
If only everyone could catch the draft and ride in the wind tunnel.
The world is changing like a kaleidoscope spun in double-time,
making everything else seem to be
stuck inside an irrelevant time dilation.

There is something wrong with the world today.
So much hate, and too many people being betrayed.
So many just want to hide away.
What used to be green is turning grey.
Pills and guns causing so much dismay in the good ol’ USA.

Dollars are flying and people are dying.
Peace & love through superior fire power!
How can we nurture love on a mountain of bones?
We need a new generation of people who understand,
and we need politicians who will listen to philosophers,
and lead us in the direction of a better world.

Still Waters

People live, people die, and people carry on.
Bring on the heroes,
rescue the motherless children,
remove them from harm’s way,
give them a brand-new day.

Scoundrels have called the shots through fear long enough.
People need to stand together to take down the tyrants.
There can be no indecisiveness’.
How long can the world let this go on?
Enough with a handful of evil people destroying harmony.

Until young people from different backgrounds can have fun together safely,
there’s not much hope for having peace around the globe.
Still waters speak volumes.
Loud enough to deafen innocent ears.

EARTH

Far into the bowels of Mother Earth, the deeper you go, the hotter it gets.
In the center of the earth, 4000 miles deep,
there is a massive 85% iron, 15% nickel solid metal ball 800 miles thick.
This monstrous ball of solid mass reaches temperatures of 13,000 degrees F.
Did you ever roast marshmallows over a campfire?
Campfires are about 900 degrees by comparison, hot enough to melt lead.
Beyond this atrocious center ball core, there’s a river,
1400 miles across, of liquid metal pouring,
in perfect centrifugal motion around the core.
A molten sea as thick as the distance from Niagara Falls to Miami,
pouring a river, 1400 miles across, of constantly revolving hot liquid metal,
around this magnificent 800 mile thick solid 13,000-degree mega hot solid ball.
The math involved in computing the density, and the pressure, and the gravity,
and to be able to see it all working like a clock in your mind, how every detail,
all had to work, just the way it did,
for billions of years, to get us too exactly where we are today.
After the big bang, gravity collected stuff scattered across the universe,
about 1800 miles deep, all the way around the top of this molten sea,
pulling together space dust, containing all the elements we have today,
to finally, after several billion years, develop the rest of this extraordinary EARTH.

Human Beings

People are so different.
We all see the same things in completely different ways.
Leave it to humans to pickle paradise!
Looking back, it’s easy to see how we
could have made towns better.
We have new technology to monitor the slightest things.
We don’t need walls or floating barriers.
We need humanity to mean more than Wall Street,
and we need to use technology
to make health, comfort, and entertainment,
more efficient for the masses.
If we create a society that can keep people happy, healthy & entertained,
they won’t be out doing bad things.
Can we rectify the seven deadly sins.
Can’t we live inside a shield of love and understanding.
People desire to work to provide for their families.
People who work a 40-hour week,
should be able to live comfortably and save for a home.
Immigration should be a beautiful thing.
If you live in the USA, and you are not a Native American Indian,
then you came form immigrants.
Can we all please learn to get along.

To What End

To what end do the rich accomplish in high society.
Would it be a chosen path after experience on the
outside looking in, or the future, looking back.
Some people analyze, some people rationalize,
and others criticize and patronize.
Who is to say what is right and wrong?
So many laws; man’s law, God’s law, the laws of the jungle,
the laws of nature, the laws of physics, civil law,
paternal law, maternal law, money laws, criminal law, constitutional law, corporate law, family law, and many more. This world is so messed up, we need family law to settle disputes, and other matters. SMH Shouldn't family be sacred?
Think of how much good Governments could do if we could trust.
Why can’t human beings trust one another?
I estimate the world spends 2 trillion dollars
a year on “Military Madness”.
Isn’t there something we could do to the mad Russian
to get him to go home and leave Ukraine alone.
Could we maybe send the marines to Darfur to stop the madness?
Why do we interfere in the Middle East,
but stay away from the madmen killing children in Sudan?
Could I get a congressman to give me a call?
I want to understand.

SHAPE THE FUTURE WITH KINDNESS

How can one have inner peace in the present,
when there are so many people suffering.
Is this inner peace, or a lack of compassion,
Is meditation today a celebration of inner peace,
or just being grateful everything is alright for me?
Breathe deep, keep mind focused.
We are shaping the future.

Night & Day in Harmony

Think about what a wonderful world it would be,
if everyone’s main task was to become a better person.
Imagine that, a thief would see a diamond,
or a pile of money, and think, I can’t take that,
I must be a better person.

No more murders, and no more heinous crimes.
All the babies would grow up to be just fine.
No one would need a security system,
if only everyone’s main task was to become better,
no one would ever become ostracized.

No one would even need locks on their doors.
Do what you can to make the world a better place,
and in doing so, you will be making yourself better.
We can’t fix everything;
but we can head into the right direction.

Our Society

Look at all the problems people face, it’s overwhelming.
To many people being raised to think money rules;
what a bunch of crazy fools?
Love is the way, we all need to chill, and take life slow.
We need to slow down all this crazy consumption,
or learn to do it sustainably.

The world’s economy relies on growth.
Growth is sustainability’s enemy.
Should we steer towards population control,
or shall we continue stimulating growth?
What kind of world will it be 2323?

So many lonely people, so many people working from home.
It’s hard to find love anymore,
everyone is depressed and never go out to roam.
Is technology doing more harm than good?
It makes life easy, but what is it doing to our society?

I Was Once A Soldier

Got to keep on strolling, no time to waste on what evil’s beholding.
Life is short, find what you love, and enjoy your stay on Mother Earth.
Don’t let the haters ruin your day.
Stand proud, stand tall, and love them all, all but the haters, anyway.

We’ve created ourselves a completely different world to live in.
It’s different mentally and physically.
We’ve created a new society in need of different rules.
To fix a different set of problems, we need a different set of tools.

Our Constitution was written 60 years before the revolver was invented.
In 1836, Samuel C**t rotated the cylinder by cocking the hammer.
This made it possible for one man to kill six men in a few seconds.
In 1776, there were no revolver pistols, much less machine guns.

I was once a soldier boy;
I could take a M-16 apart and put it back together in 30 seconds.
Even though the M-16 can fire 30 rounds in 3.2 seconds,
it’s much more deadly when you aim and fire one shot at a time.

I don’t mean to brag; I’m trying to make a point.
These kinds of guns do not belong on our peaceful streets.
We need to wise up and put an end to all wars and maintain peace.
At the very least, make assault rifles illegal everywhere, but in your home,
or in the trunk of your car, on the way to and from the firing range.

Hunting rifles should only have one shot.
You don’t deserve the kill if you miss.
With an M-16, it’s possible to kill 60 people within 25 to 50 yards away, in 64 seconds.
One second to aim shoot and kill, 30 times, in 30 seconds,
4 seconds to change the clip and take a t**e, repeat, 60 torsos in 64 seconds.

Plant Some Flowers

Read the situation on the outside, before going in.
The key is to live smart before life gets too hard.
Once you get behind, life doubles down.
You got to hold your head up high, never let’um see you frown.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, plant some flowers and forgive.
Smell flowers in your dreams,
be on the wavelength with flowers blooming.
Picture yourself the way you want yourself to be,
and let nothing stand in your way and try not to get deceived.

Sometimes life will get you down.
No matter how hard you try.
You can’t control what other people do.
Let’um do as they will, but don't let them ruin you too.
