You never think it could happen to you or anyone really. It did happen. Innocent horses were brutally stabbed in their stalls at the NBHA show in Las Vegas over the weekend. Our hearts hurt for them and we pray for a full recovery.

This can happen any where.

In light of the situation, I have made the choice to no longer post about where we plan to be attending, when we are going or while we are at an event. We will post when we get home 🫶🏼

One of my responsibilities as a horseman is to do everything I can to keep Scarlett safe.

I love my mare and I can not imagine the amount of pain these horses and their owners are feeling & I pray none of us ever do.

Oh so fun! Had my time to cry about it but its over & on to the next race! Chaos in the warmup area and some chaos behind the alley way we struggled to get in there a little and had some jockey error on 2nd but check that 1st barrel 😍 still brought home some pocket cash in the youth and helmet side pot! & 1 spot out of the money in the open!! So proud of Scarlett dealing with everything and the heat the best way she knew how too! I love this little mare! She is getting faster & those few seconds that caught us up at the 2nd barrel proves it would have been a smoking run & probably landed us in a crying hole! When it gets faster it tends to get a little messy at first & it happens to the best of us 💗

The Little Red Mare didn't just come to play! She came to take care of business! & thats exactly what we did! I am so dang proud of Scarlett!

Ran a 16.8 in the Open and carried to the Youth! Bringing home checks 💰 even with a little slip or 2! She stayed up and kept them up!
3rd in the Open 3D & 1st in the Youth 3D

Proving again that she has what it takes & continues to season so easily 👑🐎🩵🫶🏼
