And just like that…what took months to coordinate was dismantled and cleaned up in a day! Once again we thank all our volunteers, sponsors and visitors for helping to make this weekend a great success! Let the planning begin for next year!

Our Festival has ended, cleanup and breakdown is underway. We will continue to post Festival photos throughout the week. We thank everyone again for their participation in our Long Island Greek Festival. These photos depict the attendance of youth ...whether assisting the Clergy, working, dancing or enjoying! Also our last Early Bird Winner was Ticket # 685. Good luck to everyone on June 22nd when we hold the main drawing for our Gala Sweepstakes. Tickets available from any PC member or the Cathedral Office. You have to be in it to win it!

Thank you EVERYONE! We cannot begin to thank everyone for all your support. Whether you were a sponsor, donor, worker, guest, employee, vendor, etc., we thank you for your support in preparing for and during the Festival. We especially want to thank our three Co-chairs, George Vasilakis, Tina Vasilakis and Dean Yeostros. Congratulations on organizing another well run Festival.

We thank all our visitors for attending our Festival. It's a beautiful evening and we are here for a few more hours [9pm]. The Flea Market $7 a bag is still in progress. [ 2 bags for $12 ].
We were delighted to have the Chancellor of the Direct Archdiocese District, Father Elias G. Villis [ along with his family ] visit our Festival.

We thank Father Nikiforos Fakinos, Presiding Priest of Saint Demetrios, Merrick and Vicar of Western Long Island for joining us. We also thank Nassau County Executive, Bruce Blakeman for joining us not once but twice this weekend. We are here till 9pm, please join us. Our HUGE FLEA MARKET, has plenty of beautiful items available at extremely reasonable prices. There will be a $5 a bag special soon!
