Exactly six years ago today, at the start of what should haven tech week, I sat in a room with a bunch of crying theatre kids, explaining that we had to postpone our production a few weeks because of this COVID thing the rest of the world was struggling with.

This week, I started tech week. Same show, same school, a different group of great kids.

Honestly, life has a lot of postponements that turn into cancellations. It’s not anything like a complete victory when I think of the losses for the original cast. But it is a kind of victory.

It took years, but now… We’re off to see the Wizard!
