💻✨ THIS WEEK’S COMPUTER SCIENCE QUEST IS ALMOST HERE…

Something BIG is loading this week. We’re going backwards in time, looking inside the machines we use every day, and uncovering a few secrets that might make our students look at computers very differently by the end of class. 👀

There may be some old-school technology involved…

There may be a little mystery…

And there will definitely be a challenge waiting for them. 😎⚙️

🎮💚 TEENS HOMESCHOOL CLASS UPDATE — SEATS AVAILABLE! 💚🎮

Hi XP families! We wanted to share a quick update and a small apology. ❤️

We recently discovered a technical issue with our Calendly registration link that prevented some families from signing up for our Teens Class this Tuesday, September 1st. We’re so sorry for any confusion or frustration this may have caused!

The good news: the issue has been resolved, and we still have seats available! 🙌

🎧🎮 COMMS UNDER PRESSURE CAPSTONE — MISSION COMPLETE! 🔥

🎮 What happens when the technology works…but the TEAM doesn’t communicate? 🎧

That was the challenge our homeschool esports students tackled today during Comms Under Pressure.

Students participated in hands-on activities designed to show what communication really looks like when information gets lost, leadership changes, and teams have to adapt.

They explored:

📡 The difference between signal and noise
🥤 How information travels through a communication system
🎧 Clear vs. confusing callouts
🧱 Team operations and problem-solving
👑 Leadership under pressure
🔄 Adaptability when things don’t go according to plan

But today’s lesson went well beyond gaming.

Our students connected those same skills to real-world situations involving school, teamwork, future careers, conflict resolution, responsibility, and leadership.

Because whether you’re on an esports team, working on a group project, or eventually entering the workforce…

Being talented matters. Being someone others can communicate with, depend on, and work beside matters too.

That’s what we mean by gaming with purpose. ❤️🎮
