The wait is almost over! Here is the official Miller Masters oil pattern we’ll be putting out for this weekend’s tournament.

Want to get a look at it before the tournament? We’ll have the pattern out Friday for practice from noon to 5 PM. Lanes will have fresh oil at noon, and we’ll re-oil everything again at 2:30 PM. Practice lanes will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Come try a few different angles and get yourself ready for the weekend. We’re almost there!

Another sponsor has stepped up!

A huge thank you to MT Glass Liquor Store for coming on board with a $500 sponsorship! That officially brings us to $6,500 ADDED TO THE PRIZE FUND for the 40th Annual Miller Masters!

We’ve had some awesome new sponsors join us this year, including MT Glass Liquor Store, Opportunity Bank of Helena, and Katen 3D Printing & Arcade. 🎳 ALRIGHT BOWLERS… WE’RE OFFICIALLY LESS THAN A WEEK OUT!

The 40th Annual Al Carrette’s Miller Masters is almost here, and it’s time for the final push!

First, a HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors. This year, our sponsors have added $6,000 to the Miller Masters prize fund! We couldn’t put on a tournament like this without the businesses that step up and support it year after year.

A special thank you to Gusto Distributing and Miller for helping us make Year 40 a big one! We’ll also have tournament drink specials that will run through the end of September including $3 drafts and $4 White Claws.

Over the weekend we had a group of youth bowlers in and got the chance to put a reactive ball in their hands and show them a little bit about how it works. Those are the moments we really enjoy.

And then eventually it happens. Someone throws that shot they have been working toward. Maybe it is their first strike. Maybe the ball finally reacts the way they wanted it to. Watching that excitement is hard to beat.

Whether it’s learning about approach and backswing, figuring out why a ball hooks, understanding what the oil on the lane actually does, learning how the machines work, or even trying to understand the math behind bowling scoring, there is always something new to learn.

That is what our youth program is about. Learning a sport, making friends, getting better every week, and giving kids something they can be proud of.

Our Fall Youth Bowling League information is below for any families who have been thinking about giving it a try.

You don’t have to already be a bowler. We’ll help with that part.

Youth Bowling at Sleeping Giant Lanes is a place where kids build confidence, make new friends, learn sportsmanship, and have fun every week. Whether your child is picking up a bowling ball for the first time or looking to improve their game, our coaches are here to help them grow on and off the lanes.

This fall we’re offering two league options to fit your family’s schedule, with programs for bowlers of all ages and skill levels.
