This is a tapir. His name is Hugo, and he’s trying softness for the first time.
Surrounded by blooms he didn’t ask for, Hugo is learning that whimsy and weirdness can coexist. Same, Hugo. Same.

This piece marks the beginning of a new chapter for me—one with more florals, more pastels, and slightly fewer demons (for now).
If you’ve followed my work through the moodier years: don’t worry. The sarcasm is still here, just in a velvet waistcoat now.

"A River Runs Through It (Through the Mall, I Mean)"

"A Snake is Still a Snake"
This piece comes from a page out of my journal. I found a quote one day scrolling Pinterest that read
"No matter how much a snake sheds its skin, it's still a snake." The original draft still has the text wrapped around the image.

"New Growth"
When a tree is cut at the end of it's life we are presented with a roadmap. The rings show us everything- the good, the dry, the windy- all of the traumas of being alive. There is an inherent beauty in the imperfections and the determination to continue forming new growth despite the odds.
