We are thrilled to announce that we've gotten permission to use an original illustration by Edward Gorey for our production of "The Moors".

The original illustration was created for a satyrical book of author biographies called "Instant Lives" and features the three Brontë sisters. Since these women energized the Gothic Romance genre with novels like Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, it seemed apropos to feature them for our own gothic production.

Auditions are now open for our fall production of "The Moors" by Jen Silverman. This send-up of gothic romance needs two sisters, a scheming maid, a governess, and a couple talking animals. We are excited to announce our fall production, "The Moors" by Jen Silverman. It starts out as a playful satire on the Gothic Romance genre, but underneath, you’ll find the psychology of repression, a sharp critique of patriarchal norms, and a story of q***r desire.

Lily Hoelscher will direct the play, and we'll be issuing our call for auditions in just a couple of weeks! Stay tuned for more about the show as we put the project together.
