Y’all know I love supporting other small businesses! Sometimes God’s plan aren’t ours, and in that process character is being tested. I was not signed up to be a vendor as I had other obligations this weekend, but I know a lot of small businesses were counting on these sales to help them this fall.
I can’t love this post enough! And it’s given me the opportunity to do something as well. Be on the lookout for a post to hopefully help these small businesses make some money this weekend! Go follow the businesses mentioned. Go like their posts, and if able, purchase from them as well! Show some ❤️
🐾🩵 A GIVEAWAY WITH A LITTLE EXTRA LOVE FOR OUR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES! 🩵🐾
Fall weather, Friday night lights, and a cozy blanket to keep you warm on the hill! 🏈🍂
I recently scored a great deal on this cozy fleece blanket from one of our wholesale suppliers, and I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it! Since there’s only one, I knew it would be our next giveaway item! We added one of our favorite vintage Helena Huskies designs, and now it’s ready for a new home!
We originally planned to kick off this giveaway next weekend, but with the cancellation of this weekend’s Buck Creek Festival, we decided to get things started a little early!
Unfortunately, the vendors who planned to participate in the festival won’t be receiving refunds for their vendor fees. As a fellow small business owner, I know how much time, money, and preparation go into these events. Having one canceled is disappointing enough without losing the money you’ve already invested.
So we’re adding another way to earn entries while showing some love to those businesses!
Old Town Mercantile also won’t be able to attend Helena Market Day on October 17th due to funeral arrangements for my grandmother, but we still want to encourage everyone to get out and support the vendors who will be there!
