The City of Hector will be hosting a fireworks show this Saturday June, 27 around 9 pm at Cecil Riley park. Parking for this event will be at the multi purpose building at the high school. The pyrotechnics will be setting off the fireworks in the middle of Cecil Riley park this year so absolutely no parking at the library, fire Dept, or the old clinic due to fall out from the fireworks. Please follow all social distancing rules by staying six feet apart.

****Hectorfest/Dogg Daze 2020****

It is with a lot of thinking and discussion that due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty of the future months we have decided that for the safety and well being of everyone we are postponing Hectorfest/Dogg Daze 2020 to a later date if things improve we will of course have to make different plans for the event but that will come later in the year. We are working on possibly a firework show but everyone will have to stay in your vehicles to follow all social distancing guidelines but we will announce that in the coming months closer to the date. We are very sorry for any inconvenience but feel that this is necessary to keep everyone safe and healthy.
