🐝 We had a special visitor at the NWIBA booth! 🍯
Bea the Bee, the official mascot of the Lake County Fair, buzzed on over to visit the Northwest Indiana Beekeepers Association (NWIBA) honey and bee booth! 🐝
Of course, we couldn’t pass up the chance to get a picture with the biggest bee at the fair! 😄
If you’re at the Lake County Fair, stop by and see us! Learn about honey bees and beekeeping, chat with local beekeepers, and pick up some delicious local honey while you’re there. 🍯🐝

Just a quick reminder now that the fair is officially OPEN and running! 🎡🐝❤️

If you volunteered for a shift at the Bee Booth, please stick to your commitment and come to the fair for your scheduled shift. We are counting on everyone who signed up to show up and help us keep the booth running smoothly!

🐝🍯 THE FAIR IS UP & RUNNING! 🍯🐝

The Lake County Fair is officially open again after the storms, and we are SO excited to be here today representing the Northwest Indiana Beekeepers Association! 🐝💛

Stop by our booth and grab some local, raw honey while you’re here! 🍯 We have several sizes and prices available:

🍯 12 oz. — $8
🍯 1 lb. — $10
🍯 2 lb. — $18
🍯 3 lb. — $27
🍯 5 lb. — $38

We also have chunk honey, honey comb squares, honey comb cups, and creamed honey available, as well as beeswax. @🐝

And if you’ve ever thought about becoming a beekeeper, COME TALK TO US! 🐝 Ask one of our beekeepers all about getting started, keeping bees, equipment, queens, honey harvesting, and everything in between. We LOVE helping new beekeepers get started!
