The Heber Springs Parks and Recreation staff are dedicated to providing a wholesome atmosphere while offering quality programs and working as a team with our community. We are responsible for the Heber Springs Aquatic, Community Center, Sports Complex, Spring Park, Sandy Beach, Bridal Veil Falls, Sulpher Creek, Eagle Bank and Optimist Park.

This week the parks department repaired holes and painted over graffiti at the bandshell, repaired playground equipment at Spring Park, and had cracks in the trail below the little d**e repaired. These are all fall maintenance projects that are completed as time allows.

Basketball season is upon us!! Register using the QR code!! See you at the court!!

This year and moving forward the cost in all of our sports will stay at $100, which is uniform with all of our youth programs. Cost includes jerseys for each player and no gate fees. Many park departments in our region have less registration cost but charge a gate fee, over the course of a 10-game season, you are actually paying more than our $100 registration fee becasue of the additional gate fees. Our goal is to offer a competitive program for all residents in the area, which includes certified refs and umpires. As always, those interested in our scholarship program for families who need support, you may apply for a waiver.

The elevator at the Community Center is currently out of service. We are working to get it fixed as quickly as possible.
