Continuing to explore creative outlets. I was given a box of glass that came from a broken Tiffany style lamp. The giver said maybe I could figure out what to do with the glass seeing that I was “artistic”. This is what I came up with. A wind chime. I’ve never made one before so there is room for improvement.

I’ve started a new artistic adventure. It called Art Abandonment. You make a small piece of art, in my case a small painted ceramic fridge magnet. I have been leaving them in places where people can find them. In shopping carts, park bench, next to a tree in a park. Any place I visit that looks like a good spot. Then when someone finds it they can post if they wish on FB page Art Abandonment. Here is one that someone found and posted. It’s really fun even though mostly you will never know who received it.

As some of you may know, after 20 years, I am retiring from making pottery. I used my last lbs of clay to make something for myself; a birdbath.

I still have plenty of finished pottery to sell but will be making no more
