Creative Movement Class:
Stepping off the yoga mat, the movement class combines Yoga, Pilates, Contemporary Dance and Bartinioff technique creating a supportive and adventurous environment. This class is d
esigned to bring awareness of body and self, increase core strength, and improve mobility and balance. By finding your natural postures and stance through movement and music, we will help shed the stresses of the week. The format of class will begin with a floor series, flowing naturally to standing sequences full-body movement combinations through the space. Joining Yoga, Contemporary Dance, and Ballet this class emphasizes body and spacial awareness, choreography, and performance technique. This non-traditional dance class is designed to enhance your movement technique, musicality, stamina, and provides an adventurous and creative environment. This dance series is also intended to develop future performance opportunities. Previous Movement experience suggested/helpful. Attire:
Form-fitting movement or Yoga attire. Top layer to cover back and shoulders for floor work (long or short sleeve shirt).
