The Sunday wine-down Pool Party is a Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience tradition. Appellation Healdsburg offered an incredible location for VIPs, chefs, and makers to dip, sip, and snack after a weekend of wine and food fun.

Cocktails from Rue de Reve and beers from Peroni were refreshing Sunday beverages along with wines from Marine Layer and Rodney Strong Vineyards. Zero-proof options were also available from Glasrose and Solubrae. Along with coffee from Graffeo Coffee!

Chef Charlie Palmer and the Appellation team grilled BBQ chicken with all the fixings out on the pool deck. While California Caviar Co. rounded out the HWFE weekend with poolside caviar bumps alongside hydration IVs from The Lounge Healdsburg.

What started as a little idea to celebrate the magic of Healdsburg has grown into a weekend filled with incredible wines, unforgettable meals, and the most amazing community.

Thank you for all your support and making HWFE what it is today.

After an incredible 5th year, we’re already dreaming about Year 6. We can’t wait to share what’s next.

The last day of HWFE brought an afternoon lunch party at Copain Wines dedicated to celebrating one of life’s most delicious pleasures: PIZZA & PINOT.

Chef Joe Sasto joined local legend Ari Weiswasser as they both crafted classic and unique takes on handmade pizzas which included fresh shaved Urbani Truffle and even cookie dough!

Wine stations from Copain Wines, Hartford Family Winery, La Crema, Siduri, Bricoleur, De Loach Vineyards, Domaine Messier, LANDO Winery, Merry Edwards Winery & Vineyards, Roederer Estate, and Saracina offered a diverse range of pinots that paired perfectly with the pizzas.

The Big Bottle Party is always the hottest wine party of the year! VIPs got an hour of early access which included wines from Silver Oak and Casa Obsidiana Tequila. Everyone was greeted with a welcome pour of Ca’del Bosco magnums and then enjoyed large-format wines, magnums, jeroboams, and beyond from high-end Sonoma County and global producers.

Late-night bites by Chefs Dustin Valette included porchetta sandwiches, smoked Westholme wagyu tri-tip, and aged whole tuna, while Chef Lee Anne Wong created fried Point Reyes Cheese TomaRashi sticks and Liberty Duck dumplings with California Caviar.

Every level of The Matheson transformed into an unforgettable food and wine playground: Sushi by Scratch Restaurants pop-up omakase tasting, Champagne PIAFF wine lounge, Evil ‘Tinis from Evil Bean Spirits and Tequila El Mexicano, Peroni beers flowing, Pop Fiction rocking out on the main floor while the rooftop grooved to DJs Tamer and Sunwoo from Salty Sundays.

It was a night of BIG bottles and BIG memories!

The Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience rooftop lounge at The Matheson presented by First Citizens Bank and First Citizens Wealth offered a food and wine oasis amidst the bustle of Saturday's Grand Tasting.

Guests were greeted with a welcome pour of Roederer Estate and then led upstairs where they could find a Reserve Wine List with specialty wines not available anywhere else in the festival. Chef Dustin Valette and The Matheson team created delicious bites including an Urbani Truffle pizza.

The California Caviar Corner was in full swing along with cheese selections from and the First Citizens Bank and First Citizens Wealth lounge with wines from Skipstone Winery.

DJ Soigne curated the perfect vibe of funky chill music that let guests relax while also keeping everyone energized for the day ahead.

The Vintners Plaza Grand Tasting is the cornerstone event of the HWFE weekend!

Guests wandered the Grand Tasting tents to experience 150+ incredible wines, beers, and spirits, along with delicious bites from top chefs and restaurants who knew just how to make Sonoma County shine.

It was some of the best of the food and beverage world right in the heart of wine country, with bites from celebrated chefs including Lee Anne Wong, Viet Pham, Britt Rescigno, Joe Sasto, The Pasta Queen, and so many more!

Sips were enjoyed from hundreds of wines along with beers, spirits, cocktails, and zero-proof options.

An adorable addition to the Grand Tasting this year, mini cows, Lady and Reba were around for guests to pet and have their picture taken!

This dynamic conversation was moderated by Executive Wine Editor of Food & Wine, Ray Isle alongside CEO of Marine Layer Wines and Valkyrie Selections, Baron Ziegler, and featured a panel of four industry leading sommeliers:

Melissa Carlile-Price, Sommelier, Ci Siamo/Union Square Hospitality Group

Braithe Gill, Corporate Beverage Director, Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group/Brennan’s

Attendees started with wine from Marine Layer Wines and Valkyrie Selections, accompanied by brunchy bites and coffee from Costeaux French Bakery.
