The Hazleton Art League took it on the road today and went to Wilkes-Barre for Chalkfest. The weather was perfect for drawing on the pavement, next to the Susquehanna River. We had some Art League members stop by our table, and we saw Kyle Stratton from Visit Luzerne County in action. It was really nice to tell people about HAL and invite them to come visit us at the Hayden Family Center for the Arts.

The Hazleton Art League enjoyed a wonderful gallery opening at the Hayden Family Center for the Arts Friday, October 2. Siblings Paul and Katherine Rosenbergers’ exhibition, The Nature of Siblings, along with the Hazleton Area Garden Club’s Art in Bloom created a beautiful experience, enhanced by the beautiful music of Billy Duffy. Sunday, October 4, from 1 - 3pm is the artists’ talk. 👨‍🎨 🧑‍🎨
