On the upcoming second album “The New Normal”, the storyline will pick up from K.K. crashing to Earth in the song ‘Gravitational Pull’, Tommy going to search for the crash site in ‘Channel 2’ and Space Force Special Ops discovering the craft in ‘Big Bother’. You are going to experience a very grand expansion to the Reaperverse we’ve created over the years. It’s going to answer some questions left open ended by the “A New Era” album and is bound to raise some new ones.
Since the second album picks up directly from where the first ends, it will more so be set at the height of pandemic times and serve as a retrospective of what felt like, and sometimes still feels like, the true end times.
We wanted to accurately and respectfully capture the events of the past three years through the lyrics and instrumentation, while also developing the storyline for K.K. and co. as well as the band’s true sound. Only three of the 16 tracks planned will be truly story driven, although as I said, will bring some major plot points to the table. The remaining 13 will serve as a timeline of events through the lens of my own experiences, starting more lighthearted and gradually becoming more serious.
Because we wanted to take the new material to the next level conceptually, lyrically, instrumentally, and in production, it’s taken quite some time to establish this. I apologize for the delay in releases but I do believe it’s worth it and we greatly appreciate the fans who continue to support us while we are in the studio. ‘Pentagon Approved’ is the first track of this new album and subsequently the first single set to be released from it. Luna, Tieds, Tik Tæk and myself gave it several listens last night and decided, with the mixing and mastering expertise of TChase Home Studio and helpful insight of Secret Sauce Studio, it is finally ready to unleash into the world. What we learned in producing this track should expedite the remaining production of the album, as it has set the mark for what quality, style and sound we expect for the songs that follow. Thank you for your patience. I do believe it was well worth it. 🐁

Good evening, ghosts and ghouls! The K.K. Reaper band is searching for a lead guitarist!

About us:
•Based out of central NJ (Hazlet Township)
•We are between 24-26 years old
•We have two albums worth of music to play live as well as demos from the upcoming album.
•Established brand, look, sound, and live show with experienced players.
•Influences from a large mix including Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Type O Negative, Slipknot, Meat Loaf, David Bowie, even The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
•Venues we’ve played include Brighton Bar, Club 35, Knitting Factory, 66 Congress, Stone Pony, Roxy & Dukes, Debonair Music Hall, The Saint.

Important notes:
•we practice Thursday’s 7p-11p in Middletown
•we play two shows a month minimum (more depending on availability. Shows are schedule a month in advance.)
•The current set list consists of 11 original songs and one cover.
•the drummer plays to a click with in-ears, so timing and proficiency is critical.
•we are NOT a jam band
•we take pride in the show we put on. That means dressing the part and having great energy on stage.
•we are a shock rock group and utilize some props on stage during the show.
