There is a mental side to this job that people don’t always see. You’re responsible for someone’s confidence on a day that may be incredibly important to them. You have to be able to adapt, problem solve, manage time, and deliver a consistent result. Those skills come with time, practice, mistakes, education, and experience.
Your cost isn’t just paying for the products on your face. It reflects the YEARS it took to develop the skill, the money invested in the kit, continued education, preparation, time, and the ability to deliver a professional service with confidence.
My first few years as a MUA, I charged $20-30 for a full face. I will always believe that experience matters, and there is a difference between owning makeup and knowing how to be a makeup artist.
Today is restock day 🔥🤩
i’ll make a post of exactly what all I purchased when i get home! 🫶🏻
I also wanted to say that I pick each makeup product i have based on what i think works best and will
make each of you achieve the look you want!
I have no limit on price when i do this! I put each and every clients needs first and think about the price later 🤣🤦🏼♀️
With that being said, understand why makeup looks cost what they do! It is based on experience, time, knowledge, and then restock percentage! My price list is more pricey i will not lie BUT i will deliver to you exactly what you pay for if not more because i want each and every person to feel beautiful and as if they’re a celebrity for the day 😘🫶🏻😂
When i first started in 2015 each look was $35 😭 after experience throughout the years I have grown and adapted to where i am now! Making people feel beautiful makes me feel beautiful as well! ❤️
