Hayward Area Recreation District’s PhotoCentral presents the Annual PhotoCentral Spring Exhibition. This eclectic group show is an annual event for PhotoCentral and features a wide variety of works from over 50 artists. Vote on your favorite pictures. Award, prizes, fun and gorgeous photography. Celebrate this annual PhotoCentral exhibition with us and take home some great art and memories. There

will be a public reception on Sunday, March 15 from 2-5 pm. The event is free and the public is invited. The exhibition continues through April 25. The PhotoCentral Gallery is located at 1099 E Street, Hayward, California and is open Monday from 5 pm -10 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am - 1 pm and by appointment. PhotoCentral offers quality artwork in its gallery and outstanding facilities for the dedicated photographic artist with classes, workshops, darkrooms and a matting facility. Spring Photography Exhibition 2020 first meeting
As always, the Annual Spring Show begins with a hands-on seminar on how to exhibit your work in the best light. Discuss all aspects of the decision-making process including editing, print selection, matting, mounting, framing, and signing/editioning your work. This exhibition is open to all types of photography.

• Seminar Tues 1/21/20 7-9:30 pm (Introduction for newbies and feedback session for all) (Email Kate if you cannot attend)
• Promotion/Image Feedback: Sunday, Mar 1, 2020, 1:00pm-3:00pm. (Editing, image feedback, and show logistics. Promotion and website planning) (optional)
• Hang the exhibition: Sunday, 3/22 2-6 pm,
• Opening Reception: Saturday, Mar 28, 2020 1pm to 5pm

Each photographers’ work will be featured on the show website. Awards will be given to the best work both by expert jurors and people's choice. Exhibit, learn, and share in this wonderful community event!
