Congratulations, Mariah! You are so talented, humble and hard-working. We love dancing with you and are so grateful that you joined our community! Best of luck on ALL of your future endeavors. We'll be here in the background, offering support whenever you need it and sending love always. ⭐️

"I graduated from James Logan High School. I will be attending CSU Fullerton in the fall. I started dancing at FDP when I was 16, but have been dancing since I was 2!

Hip hop has my heart ❤ Dance has definitely taught me to seize opportunities that come my way and to just go for it - whatever “it” might be.

My favorite FDP memory is hands down, Nationals 2021 in Phoenix! It was such a pivotal trip for me - I was able to break out of my shell and find a certain confidence that I’d never had before. Within that week, I created bonds and memories that I’ll never forget.

What makes FDP special is the sense of community. From the day I first showed up, I felt supported. I was welcomed with open arms by my peers, who I now call friends and who hold a special place in my heart."

⭐️ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Valerie So!

The entire FDP Fam wishes you nothing but the very BEST, Val! You are intellectual, creative and have an unmatched work ethic. We are so incredibly proud of you and will always be here, rooting for you from back home. ⭐️

"I will be graduating from Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward.
I am planning on attending UCLA this fall. At the moment, I’m planning to major in linguistics with a focus on Asian languages and cultures.
I started dancing at FDP in fifth grade.
My favorite dance style is either tap or ballet.
Dance has prepared me for the real world by teaching me to work hard. I learned a lot from my friends, teachers, and FDP family.
My favorite memory is coming back to in-person classes after so long on Zoom. It was so fun to see everyone again and try to get back to normal.
FDP is special because you know everyone cares about you. Being a part of FDP means that we’ll always be part of the FDP family no matter what happens in the future.
My advice is to stick with dance, and be prepared to work hard. There were times that I contemplated quitting, but now that I’m a senior, I’m really glad that I stuck with it because it’s taught me so much about perseverance."

Pre-class Zoom chat with Miss Rosselyn and some of our amazing advanced ballet dancers!

While we absolutely LOVE seeing your smiling faces virtually, we can't WAIT to be back inside our studio space with all of our dancers!
