September 2nd. Three cria (babies) born since Saturday morning and that one has a spine issue so needs to be bottle fed around the clock which makes these last 5 a.m. birthings crazy hard on this old body. A friend is here to help with chores and I'm waiting to hear if cria can be seen by chiropractor in MN today. No energy/time to man the store today. So sorry.

July was crazy good busy for farm and store! I ran out of a few items such as alpaca felted goat milk soaps, and dryer balls. Made more on my "days off"-never for a farmer. Also had a bit of fun dyeing more 100% alpaca yarn. The rose grey yarn is a natural color that will go well with these dyed skeins. I also want to remind folks that if you're going to be re-potting house plants you really should try the plant booster made from alpaca felt. It absorbs excess water and releases as needed so less watering. You also get a natural fertilizer as the fiber degrades.

We've been busy adding hoodies and 1/4 zip sweaters that will be perfect for the cooler summer nights in August as well as fall hikes or outdoor work. 15% alpaca content with an amazingly soft acrylic for lower prices then 50-100% alpaca sweaters already in-stock. The first photo is actually a dress that would work great with our alpaca leggings. We've always had a huge selection of hats and scarves, some of which are shown here.

More favorites have arrived along with a few new items.
More alpaca head key chains (I sold out very quickly).New alpaca pelt stuffies. Packer color alpaca hats and scarf set. Men's long johns with 41% alpaca. Faux fur lined glittens now in houndstooth pattern along with solid grey and black. Incredibly warm and versatile.
