Next up at Sugar Creek, Three on a String! You simply can't help smiling when they strum that first chord and launch into one of their old standards. Even though you probably know all the words (we all do!), you get caught up in their infectious melodies! And the very best part of any Three on a String show is watching those in the audience who have never seen their show. We call them "Rookies." This is the last show of 2026, so don't miss it! Next up on October 24, the Chapter V's Halloween Bash! Bring your favorite spooky person and enjoy an evening of 60s music that you can sing AD dance to!

Our dear Sugar Creek and Local Color friend and superstar Peggy Jones went Home on Thursday, September 17. Peggy performed with the Something Else Trio for years at the Local Color Cafe and at Sugar Creek in its early days. Peggy was a joy to listen to and was fun to watch performing.

Peggy's Funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 11AM at Springville Methodist Church (6471 Us Hwy 11 Springville, Alabama 35146). Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church (100 Pleasant Hill Church Rd, Springville, AL 35146). The family will receive friends beginning at 10AM until the service time.
