GREAT workshop last night at Sugar Creek Music Club! A few regulars, a few "old friends" we haven't seen in a while, and a ton of great, original songs introduced and shared by the writers! The September workshop will be Thursday, 9/10/26 at 6:30 PM. Plan now to come share your original works in an encouraging environment. Or, just listen to some great local and regional songwriters performing songs you won't hear on the radio (yet!).

Great January 8 workshop! Thanks to all who participated. We had some new faces, some familiar voices and lots of great, original songs! We missed a few regulars, too - hope to see them next time. Next workshop February 12, 2026 at 6:30 at the Sugar Creek Music Club!

It's that time again! Time for the monthly Sugar Creek SongCrafters workshop! Come on out to the Sugar Creek Music Club this Thursday, July 10. We'll start at 6:30, sharing fellowship, encouragement, and our latest musical creations. Bring a friend. If you're not a songwriter, come on out anyway. You'll hear some of the newest, freshest songs, performed by the folks who wrote them.

It is with great sadness that we announce that Mac McAllister has passed away. Mac had been hospitalized for the past five weeks due to complications from his heart transplant of ten years ago. His contributions to the local music scene, including co-founding the Sugar Creek SongCrafters group, have been to the benefit of many. Please keep Pat and his family in your prayers.

Wow! What a great workshop for the Sugar Creek SongCrafters on April 3! Kelli Johnson graciously shared her songwriting knowledge and spoke on co-writing, pitching, copyrighting and more. She shared several of her creative works as well. Skip Cochran, one of the founders of SongCrafters, also shared his Nashville experience and expertise. From comments made by group members, it was likely the most informative session we've had. Thank You to Kelli and to everyone who attended! Our next workshop will be on Thursday, May 8, 2024 at 6:30 PM.
