An old Poem I wrote:

The Swordsman

The Archer stands at the edge of night
Her arrows singing a deadly flight
Hair so radiant in the moonlit Sun,
Armor still shiny as the day draws done

She strafes to the tree,
And dips to her knee
Enemies scream as fire meets flesh
When she is done, only a pile is left

She collects her treasures from the monster’s lair
Turns on her heel with her usual flair
Wondering on to her next site
She continues her nightly fight

He watches her go through tree and field,
To her, his heart did yield.
The sword he carries is heavy with years
As he silently cries his tears.

He is young and he is bold
He has justice and Laws to uphold
She is pure and she is wild
She has the forest, she’s Nature’s child
The travel the road that’s straight and wide
And from the pair no evil can hide
They go to places far from home
To destroy all evil in the Name of the Throne
To destroy all evil for the Name of the Throne

He fights with a sword that shines so bright
He takes a part in every fight
She fights with Bow or Orb in hand
She wields them both to reprimand
Together they ride with a common goal
Seeking the Black Mage, to abolish his soul
The fight with their soul against Magic and Stone
To destroy all evil in the Name of the Throne
To destroy all evil for the Name of the Throne

The Golden Archer and the swordsman ride
To fight against the evil tide
The evil about the land has grown
Causing the two far to roam
Together they fight each with a flair
To deprive the villain of his evil lair
They fought against the magic of another zone
To destroy all evil in the Name of the Throne
To destroy all evil for the Name of the Throne

Creatures fall from their mighty hands
Evil leaves this noble land
Time moves on, while evil waits
For the moment to strike with hate
Time is happy without a care
Misfortune strikes, caught them unaware
She rides out alone
To destroy all evil in the Name of the Throne
To destroy all evil for the Name of the Throne
