We would like to wish our Jim Willow Scholarship recipient Cody Pollack the best of luck as he embarks upon his secondary education journey. Cody will be attending Mr. Willows alma mater Mansfield University and pursuing his musical passion and dreams of becoming a College Professor. We know Mr. Willow is playing his 🪈 flute from above celebrating Cody, knowing how hard Cody has worked to make his dreams come true. The Fall Music Festival at Dorflinger remembers Mr Willow and the thousands of students he impacted through his love of music and are honored to help carry forward his legacy. This Thursday June 18th come on out to enjoy the amazing Esme in Honesdale Central Park beginning at 7 for the Wayne County Creative Arts Council, opening up for Crosstown Shuttle and The Frost Duo. NEPA Young Musicians appreciate the opportunity!!!

Esme Schloesser was born in Philadelphia but moved to Honesdale long before her first birthday. Her penchant for singing goes back to early pre-school days when she’d burst out into “Let it Go” from Frozen to the amusement of her teachers and classmates. Over the years, she’s expanded her musical vocabulary with performances of “Burn” from Hamilton as well as “Shallow” from A Star is Born among many other songs and performances. As she’s matured, so have her musical tastes. She spent a good deal of her late adolescent years as a Swiftie — seeing her three times. As a teenager, she has progressed to artists such as Gracie Abrams, Phoebe Bridgers, Adrienne Lenker, Noah Kahan, and more experimental indie bands. She has recently been spending time with a guitar, working towards accompanying herself at a future performance. Keep her on your calendar.

Less than 3 months to go for our 10th annual Fall Music Festival at Dorflinger on September 12, 2026. But, what really keeps us going is our NEPA Young Musicians . They kick off the summer season today with OUR Maddie singing the National Anthem at the Wayne County Courthouse for flag day. Seth Banks opening the Wayne County Creative Arts summer music tonight (June 15) at the Methodist Church in Honesdale at 7. Esme in Central Park on Thursday prior to the Crosstown Shuttle and the Frost Duo. Nedalya and Lyla who organized with the support of the Old Time Fiddlers this Friday night at the Cooperage, of which all donations go to support our NEPA Young Musicians and Chords for Community. Great things happening because of the support and belief in our youth from the entire area. The Fall Music Festival group thanks you all!!! Get out and enjoy the amazing music. The circle of goodness continues...... TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

At the Little Sumpin Sumpin cabin planning our milestone anniversary of 10 years of the Fall Music Festival at Dorflinger . Great people coming together to provide our Community "The Best Day in Wayne County" on September 12th, 2026. Did you know that the Little Sumpin Sumpin cabin was built from the very first stage platform in 2017 at the Adams house, prior to moving to Dorflinger Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in 2018. Clear your calendar so you don't miss the 10th annual Fall Music Festival. Together We Remember, Together We Make a Difference.

It is our honor to support local organizations that make significant contributions to our community. In the past, Jake’s Pack has made a donation to Wallenpaupack School District to help purchase a handicap-accessible van, Keep Hawley-Honesdale Beautiful and to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. Yearly, Jake’s Pack cleans up 2.5 miles of Route 6 with KHHB and provides scholarships to local students. This is truly a labor of love and a circle of goodness for those of us who knew and love Jake.
The Jake Burkhardt Memorial Fund (Jake’s Pack) allows us to do great things in memory of Jake, and we are making a difference through our collective efforts. The best is yet to come!

The Fall Music Festival is extremely honored and proud to showcase our first award winner for the 2026 graduating class, the recipient of the Tim Bell Scholarship in the amount of $1500 to Western Wayne's Isabella Hayden. Pictured here with Isabella is WW School Board Director, and an integral part of all Fall Music Festival at Dorflinger goodness Joe Gombita.

We will be awarding the Forest City, Honesdale and Wallenpaupack Scholarships in the next few weeks. Thank you to our COMMUNITY for the continued support and generosity which allows us to give back. TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Our sister organization the Kelley Lalley Group, led by Steve and LeaAnn Gilbert- Mackle organized, built and put together a playground for all kids to enjoy at the Campground that was like a second home for Kelley during the summer months. We know Kelley was beaming from above as the kids smiles of joy are priceless. Big thanks to all especially Paul and Kimberly Williams Cavage from PA Amish Structures.

We would like to wish our friends hosting the 10th annual Kelley Lalley golf tournament this Saturday the best of luck. As is the way of Kelley, tears will be falling from the skies above, reminding us all of Kelley, Billy and the Community they left behind the summer of 2016. FRIENDSHIPS AND MEMORIES will be shared to keep a piece of them and all others who have passed since 2016, alive.
