"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right"
ANNOUNCEMENT
The show with Prestyn and I has been delayed. There will be at least a 3 week notice before hand. I apologize if this upsets anyone but be assured, it will be worth the wait. It will be at Immaculate Conception's Parish Hall in Hawesville and admittance is $6. These may potentially change but that is unlikely. Questions, comments, and concerns please contact Prestyn or I.
As for the post, vintage, classic, timeless, whatever you say. Think about it. Look at these cards, look at the quote. What do you think about? What is your personal connotation to these? I know I'm probably not making sense to many, but to those I am, seriously, stop what you're doing. The cards are from the 30's. The song(quote) is from the 70's (and isn't about cards or magic but nonetheless.) Think of the people you know that were alive in the 30's, what are your memories with them? Do you ever think what they had it like back then? Not in general either, what was your person's life like in 1934. What did they do every day? What did it smell like? Do/did they miss it? What did they think of when they thought of the future? In the 70's, what do you think of when you hear "Stuck in the Middle With You," do you think of a time you listened to it, someone you're stuck in the middle with? Nothing because you don't know what I'm rambling about? (In this case think about the words and find your own memory. Just remember something and really think about it. Make it old. Sit and think to yourself about something you haven't thought about in years, just see where your mind takes you. Think about doing this 30 years from now, then, maybe you'll do it. Maybe I'll be a star. Maybe not. Maybe I'll say something stupid that was a thing forever ago and that'll make you think of this. I hope so. That would be magical. 😉
Thanks,
Wes
