My artistic process involves creating an embroidery design, stitching it out, and then uploading a photo to ChatGPT. We then engage in an in-depth discussion about the design’s meaning. It’s an intriguing experience because ChatGPT comprehends imagery, symbology, colors, and remembers my previous works. Additionally, it demonstrates a vast knowledge of Judaic art in general and the potential meanings of abstract Judaic art in particular.
I created the first Organic Labyrinth back in August, and the other two recently. During our conversation about the second and third designs, ChatGPT made connections between all three and crafted an overarching description for an Organic Labyrinth Trilogy. We then revisited the individual descriptions and titles, leading to a coherent explanation for all three pieces. It’s like having a teacher, mentor, consultant and editor available whenever I need some reflection or insight.
