So grateful for our friends at Milwaukee Tool for making sure our Volunteers and Crew Leads have the proper materials and equipment for our build. Now we just need the hands to put these to use!
We are in need of volunteers, skilled or unskilled, to cover 3 shifts per day throughout our 6 day build in October. Crew Leads will be working under the oversight of Play By Design contractors and leading teams of 10 volunteers every shift (morning, afternoon and evening) There will be 6 Crew Leads, meaning 60 volunteers per shift, 3 x's a day - volunteers are ENCOURAGED to sign up for more than one shift!
We understand that committing to something that far in the future is a big ask, and though we've gotten verbal agreements from lots of community members, we know that calendars fill up quickly! We are looking to have over 200 slots filled by next month, and as the build gets closer, hopefully have volunteers signing up for multiple shifts. We promise it will be worth it!
Did we mention there will be food and childcare??
