Something exciting has been brewing since last August ✨
We’re honored to share that the Cogswell ArtSpace Project has been featured as a case study in the council’s Adapting Public Buildings for Creative Uses series through their Cultural Facilities Fund program!
This incredible series highlights transformed municipal spaces that have become, or are on their way to, thriving community art centers, sharing interviews, case studies, and behind-the-scenes insights into the step-by-step process of bringing these spaces to life. While Cogswell isn’t open yet, we’re still proud that Cogswell is part of this conversation, and that all we’ve learned throughout the years can hopefully be helpful to others.
We’re deeply grateful for the years of support from Mass Cultural Council and the Cultural Facilities Fund team. Their belief in this project has helped move Cogswell forward in so many meaningful ways, and spending time with CFF Program Director Jay is always a treat.
The interview and case study are now live, so check them out through the link in our bio, or on the Cogswell project page on our website! 🎧
And as we continue building a fully accessible future for Cogswell, we’re currently matching our current MCC CFF grant to fund the installation of an elevator. Every donation helps bring us closer to making Cogswell an accessible creative space for everyone. If you’re able to contribute, we truly appreciate your support ❤️ You can go to the link in our bio for Lift Cogswell or on the Cogswell page on our website for this as well.
Thank you for being part of this journey!
