The Haugen Historical Museum will be open Saturday July 25th from Noon to 4pm! So much area history, family info, & artifacts to explore! Special presentation by Ali & Melanie Al-Faraj on living in Kuwait. Ali will also be sharing his recent experience on visiting his Mother while the war against Iran broke out and his journey to get home. Hope to see you there!

The 4th has come and gone, but the party continues! Join us for 250 cupcakes, 250 ice cream cups, 250 American 🇺🇸, games and prizes and soooo much fun in Haugen.
Live music 🎶 by Moonshine Alibi. The museum is opened noon to 4pm with Mike Plante and the history of Bear Lake area starting way back when! The Ice Age and more. Opening ceremony begins at 1pm. See you soon🥰

𝓜𝓮𝓮𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓞𝔀𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼….

It’s hard to believe we opened the doors for the first time to the public on July 4th, 2019.
As we reflect on Season No. 8 in business, we thought we would re-introduce the 2 gals that keep this ship from sinking (at least most days 😊)

I’d like to say that “we had a dream”……but that would not be accurate🤔
The Creamery was built out of an old decrepit building that needed saving before it was too late….Desha called Sandy and asked her if she wanted to serve wine with her in Haugen. To which, thankfully, she responded, Yes🍷

We had never run a restaurant. We didn’t know about permits, licensing, distributors, etc. We both have extensive management experience, so we thought, we are pretty smart gals, we can figure this out🤷‍♀️

We are proudly the true definition of owner-operators, as you will find both of us at The Creamery 99.9% of the time. The majority of the time, Sandy is managing the front of the house and is the first person who greets you when you come thru the door….this was a wise business decision, as she is the friendlier one 😊. You will normally find Desha in the kitchen, managing all things back of the house. Which is also strange, as if you know Desha, she rarely uses her stove at home🤔

Sandy and Desha have been the best of friends for over 20 years….and without hesitation, continue to be❤️

Sandy is native to the Haugen area and Desha to the Rice Lake area. We both appreciate all things Northern Wisconsin.

When we are not at work, you will normally find us having fun with our friends and families…..we love to venture out and about to try new wine lists….we normally sneak away a couple times in the offseason to new destinations….and undoubtedly, you will find us drinking wine whenever we get the chance🍷

We wouldn’t be where we are at today without the exceptional staff that show up day in and day out to assist us in providing the most enjoyable Creamery experience. And we would be remiss if we didn’t take the time to thank each and every one of our customers who have frequented and continue to frequent this little piece of paradise we have created for all to enjoy-Thanks, Thanks, Thanks 🥰
