Introducing Gather & Grace — an intimate dinner series created by Chef Katie Dixon and Adrienne Hicks Garanich.

Inspired by the beauty, flavors, culture, and spirit of places around the world, each gathering will transport guests somewhere new. From the menu to the table and every thoughtful detail in between, no two evenings will be the same.

The Bay, by us. 🤍

If we haven’t met yet, we’re Adrienne and Joyce Hicks—mother and daughter, owners of Blooms, and the women behind The Bay.

For us, The Bay has always been more than a beautiful home. It’s a place that holds a little bit of our heart.

Built in 1903 and nestled in the heart of downtown Hattiesburg, this home has a charm that drew us in from the very beginning. We purchased it in 2014 and spent the following year lovingly renovating and restoring it, bringing new life to the home while preserving the character, history, and details that make it so special.

If you know us through Blooms, you know that what we love most is being part of life’s big moments—celebrations, gatherings, milestones, and all the little moments in between. The Bay gives us another beautiful place to do just that.

My mom brings the heart. She has an incredible spirit and a gift for making everyone she meets feel welcomed, known, and connected. It’s one of the reasons people love her, and that warmth is woven into The Bay.

I bring the organization, design, details, and a love for creating spaces that feel beautiful, thoughtful, and inviting.

Together, we believe the magic is in the combination—the beauty of the space, the people gathered around the table, the gardens, the details, the laughter, and the memories being made.

And we have so much planned for The Bay.

From intimate dinners and beautiful celebrations to gatherings and experiences you won’t find anywhere else, we’re creating so many new ways for you to come through the gates, experience the charm of this special place, and make a little magic of your own.
