FestivalSouth® is Mississippi’s only multi-week, multi-genre arts festival, offering both free and ticketed events to local residents and cultural tourists. Presented by the Hattiesburg Concert Association (HCA), the festival is a showcase of artists of all types throughout June and some other featured events during the year. Whether it’s classical, jazz, country, or gospel, FestivalSouth® offers music for every age range and musical taste. Our FestivalArtists bring craftsmen, artisans, and tourists together to experience unique art and sculpture exhibits from local talent. Dance events bring exciting movement to the festival, while Artie Events for kids offer fun, fun, fun for FestivalFamilies. The FestivalSouth® Film Expo showcases independent films from around the world and our Festival5k get everyone up and running! You will not want to miss this city-wide celebration of music, dance, art, and theatre. FestivalSouth® is a division of The Hattiesburg Concert Association (HCA). The mission of the HCA is to present high caliber and diverse artistic and cultural events that enrich, engage and educate our community and state; contribute to the state’s creative economy by serving as a cultural leader for our state, region and nation; and provide cutting edge cultural and educational opportunities for artists of all levels and ages. This project is supported in part by funding from the Mississippi Arts Commission, a state agency, and in part, from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

To conclude our shoutouts to each group that participated in Stars & Steps Forever, here's one last post.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the incredible dance companies and performers who shared their talent, passion, and energy at our event. Your dedication to the art of dance helped create an unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance.
We are grateful for the creativity, professionalism, and enthusiasm each group brought to the stage. Your performances inspired, entertained, and showcased the vibrant talent within our community.

If you wish to take classes or are planning an event, we highly encourage you to connect with these outstanding dance companies for your entertainment needs. Their performances are sure to leave a lasting impression on any audience.
