As I write this post, I am filled with an abundance of cherished memories. From the day I received the key in 2006 to the present moment, as I pass the keys to my son, my heart swells with pride and a sense of fulfillment. It has been my utmost privilege and honor to have served this incredible community for 20 years. I have had the privilege of meeting a diverse array of exceptional individuals, some of whom have become lifelong friends since the beginning. As some of you may be aware, the reason I established this bar was to carry on the legacy of my mother, Wanda, who was the original owner. She had a deep affection for this establishment, as well as a passion for karaoke and singing. My late husband, Jims, and I simply built upon the foundation she laid, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to connect with some of you and I am forever grateful for the trust you have placed in me to do this job. I will still be around, cheering on my son and supporting his future endeavors. My heartfelt wish for him is that you all will continue to show him the same kindness, love, and support that you have shown Jim’s and me all these years. So thank you, Hastings community, for being an integral part of my journey. Here’s to the next chapter! I look forward to seeing you this weekend! Cheers to 20yrs!! 🍻
