You don't have to be on stage to be part of a Thornapple Players show! https://forms.gle/djNg14N1nKpJhkbF7

Thornapple Players is putting together a list of people who might be interested in hearing about behind-the-scenes and volunteer opportunities. Think you or someone you know might be interested? please share!

Example Opportunities:
-set building/woodworking/ painting events
-costume assistance/ sewing
-lights/ sound operation
-stage organization

You don’t need any theatre experience, and filling out the form doesn’t commit you to a production. It simply lets us know what sounds fun so we can reach out when there’s an opportunity that might be a good fit.

The production crew spotlight continues! Today, meet our assistant director, Charli!

Charli has been dabbling in theatre for 20 years! Annie will be her third show in a directorial role and her second with Thornapple Players. She has also taught high school Spanish for 12 years, including the past four at Hastings High School (and we’re excited to have her helping lead the way :)).

Auditions are this Thursday and Friday at the Dennison Performing Arts Center in Hastings. Adults and children ages 6+ are welcome. All experience levels encouraged.

You don’t have to feel completely ready. Just come give it a try :)

Previously, the spotlight was on our director, Julian. Today, meet our music director, Elizabeth!

With 10 years of experience teaching music, Elizabeth also conducts the Caledonia Community Choir, sings with Vox GR, and runs her own voice lesson business. This is her fourth show music directing with Thornapple Players (and we’re excited to have her helping us hit all the right notes :)).

Yesterday, we introduced four of the talented people helping bring Annie to life. Today, the spotlight is on our director, Julian!

With more than 25 years of theater experience and 12 years with Thornapple Players both on and off stage, Julian brings the experience and perspective needed to guide this production (and is willing to climb tall ladders :)).

What are your favorite memories working with Julian in the past?
