My mom passed away peacefully yesterday evening, November 19th with my brothers and her caregiver Maria by her side. I will share details here about a memorial service when we decide upon them.
My mom was a beautiful, caring, kind, and compassionate person: a light in this world. If you’re reading this, she probably touched you in some way personally or professionally and I hope you remember those moments even as you read this sad news. My only solace is that she is with the God she believed in and with whom she came in to communion whenever she touched a tree, helped a person or cared for an animal. I am heartbroken and so very lucky that she was my mother.
