Charlie was recently named the 19th Connecticut State Troubadour, but don’t let the formal title fool you — Charlie is as down-to-earth as they come! Whether he’s fronting the bluegrass band On the Trail, teaching a workshop, or performing solo, he brings this mix of half-Swiss, half-Puerto Rican heritage and pure Connecticut heart to everything he touches. If Charlie is on the bill, you just know it’s going to be a great night.

This year at Black Bear Americana Music Fest, we’re turning up the fun for our youngest festival-goers! 🌟

Not only will we have fan-favorite face painting 🎨, but we’re also excited to welcome the Grumbling Gryphons for an interactive performance experience like no other!

✨ Kids ages 6 and up will have the chance to join in and perform with the Grumbling Gryphons—making music, telling stories, and becoming part of the show!

Bring the whole family, pack your lawn chairs, and get ready for a day filled with music, creativity, and unforgettable memories.
