Our Faire family is mourning the sudden loss of one of our own. Tom Budris was a longtime vendor and a familiar, steady presence around the faire for years, someone who helped bring the spirit of the medieval and Renaissance world to life year after year. He was also a devoted husband, a father of five, and a man known for always showing up when others needed help. His passing leaves his wife and three young children facing an unexpected and heavy burden as they work to cover his cremation, memorial expenses and other expenses. If you are able, please consider offering support through the GoFundMe shared by his widow. Even a small contribution helps honor a man who gave so much of himself to this community. Thank you for holding this family in your thoughts and for helping, if you can.

🏹 Thank You for an Incredible 2025 Season

The gates to Sherwood are closed. The village has gone quiet. Our cast, crew, merchants, and volunteers are packing up and catching their breath. And we want to say thank you.

To every guest who laughed, cheered, danced, sang, feasted, played, shopped, and made memories with us this season… thank you.

You brought the magic to Robin Hood’s Medieval Faire.

From the Highland Games to turkey legs the size of your forearm
From sword fights to fairytale storytelling
From first visits to final farewells

You made 2025 unforgettable.

We will miss the sounds of joy echoing through the shire. But the adventure is far from over.

Our sister show, The Connecticut Renaissance Faire, returns Labor Day Weekend for its 27th season.
It is the only other event we produce in Connecticut, and it is even bigger.
More merchants. More stages. More shows. More food. More games. More to explore.

📍 122 Mack Road, Lebanon CT
🗓️ Opens August 30 and runs through October 19

🏰 This is it. The final day of Robin Hood’s Medieval Faire.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to come… this is your last chance.

Today the gates open one last time.
One last turkey leg. One last joustless roar at the Highland Games. One last chance to laugh with Bone Dallaire, dance with Linwe, and hear the pipes of Femme Celtique echo through the village.

⚔️ Nonstop action on the field with the Highland Games
🎭 Final performances of Lassie Leans Circus, Midwife Crisis, Margot Miller, and more
🧚‍♀️ Thimbleberry’s last fairytale of the season
🛍️ One last stroll through artisan treasures and handmade magic
🍗 And the turkey legs? Still ridiculously large and completely worth it

We close the gates at 6 PM today. After that, the village sleeps until 2026.

📍 Harwinton, CT | Open 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Looking for a way to add a little extra magic to your Faire day?

Join Cally, our whimsical facilitator of wonder, in the Enchanting Trinket Trade — a creative, heartwarming exchange of handmade treasures and thoughtful tokens.

Here’s how it works:

• Make a few small trinkets ahead of time — nothing expensive, just something personal
• These can be tiny crafts, keepsakes, charms, felt creations, paper scrolls — something meaningful that you created yourself
• During the Faire, Cally will help guide and facilitate exchanges between guests who’ve brought something to share

💡 It’s not about buying something to give away — it’s about making something worth remembering.

Whether you bring one trinket or a pouchful, you’re part of something joyful and community-driven. Share your creativity, make someone smile, and leave with a keepsake that tells a story.

Please keep all items family-friendly and safe to handle. Check our event schedule for stage and time when you arrive to participate in this event.
